Biographical Note for TREACHER COLLINS SYNDROME

Collins, Edward Treacher (1862–1932), British ophthalmologist. Collins was on the staff of the Royal London Ophthalmic Hospital and a visiting ophthalmic surgeon to several schools of ophthalmology. He published works on the anatomy and pathology of the eye (1896), on the bacteriology and pathology of the eye (1911), and on the evolution of the eye (1922).
